2020 was a year marked by violence and fear. We saw so many forms of violence — against individuals, communities, neighborhoods, social classes, and genders. We saw so many kinds of fear — of the unknown, for our lives, and of change.
Despite this atmosphere of violence and fear our clients gave us hope. Teams pivoted and adapted to new ways of working. Clients worked with us to reprioritize and develop different strategies. Most importantly, so many redoubled their efforts on issues of racial justice and equity. The kind of courage and bravery we saw made us so proud to partner with our clients and filled us with gratitude. Thank you to all our partners for your hard work across so many sectors and we look forward to working with you on these challenges in the year to come.
