We partnered with Transportation for Massachusetts (T4MA) to provide an organizational assessment and antiracism training to the internal team, the board, and a selection of coalition members. Through the process, FMRA identified structural, procedural, and policy issues within the organization that needed to be addressed in order for T4MA to live its values of antiracism. FMRA issued a final report with detailed recommendations on how to address the issues.

We worked with the Community Services Department of MassHousing, the quasi-state affordable housing finance institution, to update the department’s structure and operation. The goal was to improve the level of service that they currently provide while enabling them to develop new programs and services in response to changing resident needs.

We designed and facilitated a strategic initiative shared between Boston Public Schools and the technology festival, HubWeek. Through a series of neighborhood engagements and access to the festival, we connected students and administrators to the technology and innovation economy of greater Boston.

We are working with Commonwealth on an organizational development project as part of their internal race and equity work. We are tasked with identifying key areas of the organization’s culture and systems that we can help them improve to enable them to achieve their impact and outcome goals.

We are working with the Asian Community Development Corporation (ACDC) to design and facilitate their Rebuilding Neighborhoods Advisory Group initiative. This strategic initiative brings together community organizers, small business owners, and major corporations to develop implementable solutions to the lack of affordable housing in three greater Boston neighborhoods: Chinatown, Fenway, and Union Square in Somerville.

We are working with the town of Winchester on an organizational development project to transform town government into an antiracist organization. This work reimagines policies, procedures, behaviors, and systems with the goal of living the values of antiracism both internally and externally.
